Audio + Video Production:

The following videos are examples of projects where I took 100% control of all aspects related to audio and visual production - essentially I did everything, except perform (exception: the Caledon Festival Videos)!

Audio for this was recorded by me in a studio space beforehand, and dubbed afterwards to video. Video captured and edited by Emily Rho with consultation.

Audio for this is crude - we only had a field recorder available for the day, and the music played was live in the space without rehearsal.

Video Production:

The following videos were created by me. The audio was provided by another party, and I shot all the video footage, did colour correction, and all other production work.

Post-Production Work:

Videos created using pre-recorded material, and stitched together to problem-solve recording issues, audio balance problems, video sharing quality, colour correction, etc.

This is an example of one of 58+ videos I have created for the International Society of Bassists’ “Center Stage” series (which I also produce). These videos are available as archival informational videos to ISB members via https://www.isbworldoffice.com/center-stage.asp

Website Design:

I have created a few websites over the years. This website (travisharrison.ca) was created and is maintained by me. Joel Quarrington’s website, www.joelquarrington.com and store is also an example of my work. I created these sites using Squarespace.

Publishing:

My first publication work was in 2010 when I helped create a community cookbook called “Friends with Food” for the McGill University student community.

Since then, I have created and self-published several technique books (The Canadian School of Double Bass) and sheet music editions all available through www.joelquarrington.com/store

Consulting:

If you need help setting up audio/video related systems, I’m happy to share my experience and information. For instance, I provided advice for various university music programs on online teaching at the start of the pandemic, as this is something I have experience doing since 2016.
